We will present on the benefits of quality blue and green infrastructure on both the mental and physical health of people that live near, on and use our green spaces. The talk will focus on the use of SuDS and treatment wetlands in green infrastructure and how they can be integrated to from part of the accessible space safely but retain their functionality. We will also discuss how to creatively fit features into the urban landscape and utilise nature based solutions over the more traditional hard engineering where possible.
