March 2020 signifies the end of the National Environment programme in AMP6 and all sites should be within their new permits. Through the programme, the industry has delivered technology to achieve down to 0.2mg/l P with technology ranging from Nereda / Biomag to single point Ferric dosing. The presentation focuses on the technology deployed in AMP6 and related performance with any lessons learnt. The presentation also highlights the opportunities missed and looks into the novel approaches required to achieve the outcomes of the AMP7 WINEP which has stretched targets to 0.1mg/l P, Does the industry need a step change especially with efficiencies of 30% been set by OFWAT..
