Today more than ever, the waste problem is globalised in the entire world and it is becoming epidemic, since our landfills are saturated. The modern development of wastewater treating plants (WWTP) has surely improved the quality of our environment. However, these multi-utilities are constantly increasing the production of sewage sludge that need to be disposed in proper facilities. Our studies – focused on sewage sludges – have led us to patent (BO2012A000002 / 04.01.2012) a mechanical and chemical treatment for the recovery of the waste, to obtain an organic fertilizer (biosolid), which can be used on any type of cultivation, in all weathers and throughout the year, without any odor and with respect for the environment. This process is realized thanks to a movable plant able to transform organic biomass into biosolids. The Zeolites, added together with other chemical substances, manage through a chemical reaction of hydrolysis and subsequent acid attack, to turn these waste materials in a slow water release fertilizer, without any release of bad odors. When a few years ago, our mission was to find a solution to the Sewage Sludge problem, today our aim is to sponsor Rigenera and promote our system, all over the world.
