Pneumatic conveying can provide an efficient and reliable technique for transporting biosolid and bio-waste materials between processes or sites. In order to achieve these objectives it is most important that the conveying system employed is engineered taking into account the characteristics and special requirements for a given bio material. This paper considers and discusses the design and selection of hardware necessary for reliable operation within this context.
