Good old days of 1 and 2 mg/l total phosphorus permits
……seems like history now
▪ Easy to recover if few samples are higher than Total Phosphorus (TP) permit
▪ Any impact on TP permit due to process unit or tank out of service was generally recoverable
▪ There was some optimisation but not much due to relatively relaxed permits
▪ Only a few sites required alkalinity dosing
