Acorn Water collaborates with leading global wastewater technology providers, including key partner Moleaer Inc., to implement cutting-edge wastewater solutions. Moleaer’s revolutionary nanobubble technology addresses common wastewater challenges related to fats, oils, grease (FOG), and amphiphilic compounds. These contaminants often hinder treatment processes, leading to reduced efficiency, excessive scum, and increased energy and chemical demands. Moleaer’s nanobubbles uniquely attract and neutralize these inhibitory compounds through a clean, in-situ chemical process, enhancing treatment efficiency and minimizing scum buildup.
Our proposed offering to UK water utilities leverages Moleaer’s nanobubble technology, enabling wastewater treatment facilities to process larger volumes more rapidly while improving biodegradability. The nanobubbles play a pivotal role in converting slowly biodegradable biological oxygen demand (BOD) into readily biodegradable BOD, facilitating more efficient consumption by bacteria in the wastewater.
