Tankered biosolids transactions can now be integrated into a single data communications network offering significant cost savings and much better environmental and commercial management. Automatic controls have been incorporated, as essentially background tasks, without any onerous implications to users of the system.

A low-maintenance solids monitoring system has been developed, and successfully field tested, so as to provide a higher degree of user confidence that charging regimes are consistent and fair. It has proved possible to create standard packages of hardware, software and communications equipment so as to simplify installation and maintenance and greatly reduce running costs.
