 UWWTD was adopted in 1991 and has dramatically improved the quality of rivers, lakes and seas
 as for now 98% of WW in EU is collected and 92% is satisfactorily treated new challenges
 further reduction of nutrients load on receiving water bodies
 emerging pollutants
 energy neutrality and circular economy, alignment with the EU Green Deal
