Leading the way with Mecana for low effluent P concentrations: PRESENTATION ONLY

Following a most successful involvement in the recent National P trials, the Mecana, cloth disc filter is now leading the way in the UK, with some 25 schemes currently in progress. The ability to offer a wide range of sizes and exclusive cloth medias in a variety of configurations means Eliquo Hydrok offer a cost-effective solution for any duty. Several case studies will be presented to illustrate the benefits of Mecana, including production of a 0.2 mg/l total Phosphorus standard and the ability to treat an intermittent flow. The presentation will culminate in an in-depth look at the Goscote installation in Severn Trent Water, which will become the largest two-stage Mecana installation in the world.
