Research aim – To evaluate the suitability of pyrolysis as a method of utilising sewage sludge as a fertiliser for arable crops

Objectives

– Determine the optimal operating conditions to pyrolyze sewage sludge with additional waste co-feeds

– Optimise reactor conditions to minimise heavy metal leachate through pH and pore distribution adjustment.

– Reduce PFAS content in biochar product removing it from the water system
