It has long been recognized that the transporting of sludge containing water, works against the economical operation of
a Waste Water & Sludge Treatment Works. It has also been determined that increasing the BOD – Biological Oxygen
Demand - load on an anærobic digester enhances gas production. As a result, several cell disruption technologies,
based on high shear and sonic pulses, have been tried. They have, however, proven to be expensive and have not
matched expectations. To address this problem Eco-Solids International has developed the Bug Buster technology - rapid non-equilibrium
decompression (RnD)®
