WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT – SITUATION IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

  • About 90% of the wastewater generated in low-income countries receives no treatment (UN Wastewater Report, 2017).
  • In Ghana, less than 25% of domestic wastewater receives some form of treatment (Progress on WWT – UN Report, 2021).
