European Biosolids & Bioresources Conference

16th - 17th November 2021, St James' Park, Newcastle, UK / Online

Europe’s leading event for the bioresource and biowaste industries

We are now inviting abstracts for the 2021 conference. Abstract deadline – 23 July.

The conference brings together professionals from across the globe to provide an essential annual update on the latest innovations, best practice, cutting-edge technology and research in the wastewater and resource management industries.

This year we will be offering delegates the flexibility to choose between attending the conference in person at St James’ Park in Newcastle or joining the event virtually through our online events platform.

Call for Speakers

If you would like to give a talk at the conference, please submit your abstract HERE. The following information will be required:

  • The title of the presentation
  • The key theme(s) covered by the presentation (see 2021 themes below)
  • Authors names, and contacts details for the corresponding author
  • An overview of the full presentation (approx. 200 words)
  • Whether it should be considered for an oral or poster* presentation (or both).

If you are a technology supplier and want to present at the conference your presentation must include performance data rather than just claims.  To encourage adoption of your technology an honest pros and cons assessment should be included; outlining where the technology is good and where it wouldn’t apply. Alternatively, why not ask your client to present, or do a joint presentation to support your claims?

  • Hydrogen and biomethane: is the future either / or?
  • Ammonia and the hydrogen economy
  • Understanding and maximising the value of heat

  • Pyrolysis, biochar and other sludge valorisation options
