16th - 17th July 2019, The Hilton Birmingham Metropole, (NEC), UK

Constructed Wetlands Association

Join the CWA…

The 15th Constructed Wetland Association annual conference will be held alongside the European Waste Water Management Conference in Birmingham on the 16th and 17th July.

This year’s theme will be the multiple benefits of constructed wetlands, covering the following topics.

  • Constructed wetlands as natural capital
  • The co-benefits of constructed wetlands and SUDS
  • Treatment wetlands as a community asset
  • New developments in wetland technology

The abstract deadline has now passed, however we still welcome poster submissions. Please email for further details.

The CWA annual conference has a track record of attracting a good mix of practitioners, academics, regulators and technology users. The event will be of interest to practitioners in constructed wetlands; anyone interested in low energy wastewater treatment, professionals working to improve river water quality by tackling diffuse pollution (eg catchment partnerships); regulators and government organisations interested in water framework directive, biodiversity, sustainability or wastewater regulation and academics in the field of wetland engineering or pollution control.
