Introduction
This brief paper reviews several key characteristics needed to successfully implement large Odour
Control projects. It is written to assist end-users and main contractors with planning, specifying and
procuring their new large Odour Control projects. The principles described in this paper are
especially applicable for upgrade and enhancement projects on existing sites, for example where
new processes are being added, old OCU equipment is no longer serviceable, or where tighter odour
discharge standards are now required.
